In this workshop, self taught artist Della Wells will teach participants will learn how to make dolls out of shoes. Using a shoe as a base, participants will create their own doll using paint, found objects, fabric, paper etc. Wells will show the participants how to use their imagination to create dolls. Participants are asked to bring one shoe that is already painted with white gesso paint and any found objects, fabric etc. that the participant would like to use to decorate. The shoes should be hard soles . Glue, paint, brushes, found objects, fabric will also be provided at the workshop.
